That's brilliant. What a great truck. I live in the UK, but travel to Toronto monthly, and never see Defenders there due to them having to be 15yrs old or more to comply with the law. So this is great. I'll keep a look out for it in Toronto.

You most likely wont find me in Toronto, traffic is a disaster, and especially in the Rover!

So we made it through the winter.......

So far I have undercoated it, put in some rubber matting in the load bay and put in a new stereo that I still can't hear.

Project for this weekend: I am taking the old snow tires off and am going to sandblast the rims then paint them semi gloss with POR15.

After the rims are painted I am going to install these! 235/85 R16 (current snows are...215)

White lettering inside or out??? thoughts?

Cheers

I tell you what, if That brown had been an option on the MY07 I'd have taken it. Brilliant.

As for letters on the outside, each to their own, but it's a bit too Nissan Patrol for me. Understated every time. Glad you've gone for 235/85s.

Seb,

Apparently it is a factory paint job done for the Geneva auto show in 1984. I love it, but it is a bit over the top!

Ill post pics when I am done blasting the wheels.

Cheers

The actual name of the colour is Roan Brown and it was available on late series 3 and early 110 county between 1982 and 1984.

Everyone had me thinking inside was the way to go but you do make a good argument about the era....

2 1/2 rims now blasted. At least I am over halfway.
