What a fantastic job - I have just seen about 10 things, not including the seats, that I now need to do to mine!

An expensive thread for me...

i finally brought some belts original belts were working out at a good price though about £40 each but then you have clips etc brackets and all that turned out to be around £200 then it was £250 for each side trim Crying or Very sad instead i brought some retractable belts from exmoor trim they are really good i think they were £30 each i bolted them down to the arch job done seats fold up nicely and miss them and the washers included allow them to rotate at various angles Thumbs Up
i cant find any pics but its all painted and wax oiled under there now so you cant tell the difference Thumbs Up

Looking well 'cool'. Cool Any reason for the change to the Van rather than the CSW?
I thought you had fitted her out as a CSW what with the effort you put in with the seats etc.
Be great to see how you 'rigged' the seat belts as I'll need to do this.
I'm going the the way as I have a Van that I'd like to turn into a CSW...interior trim looks very exspesive though!! John

it was basically down to insurance mate £2200 for my county or £1200 if i turned it into a van it was near on exact 1k saving Shocked i was going to tint the windows so would have cost me £250 and also there was some corrosion bubbles on the side panels so to have them treated and painted it would have been another £600 so i thought sod it to do the conversion by the time i sold the windows it hasnt cost me nothing Thumbs Up happy days. i still got the trim inside and have got carpet to match the lr carpet from a trimmers so carpeting the rest were the windows should be Very Happy

Heres some pics mate

Shocked Crying or Very sad Wow...well steep!!
Fully understand the back conversion...thought about those smaller cut out windows I have seen on some Landies Idea I do not like the look but it could help with some improved visibility??
So you only went for the lap belt in the end...I'm still looking at the proper system...trying to find how I can get hold of the seat belt reinforcing brackets that go in the wheel arches.
Still looks sharp on the inside though Cool John

The part in the photos...its a seat belt securing system that transfers the load to the rear cross member from the tub John
