What is the 'the rear wheel arch mod' that you mentioned earlier on Are these the ones that fit into the cut outs that you need to take out of the old style tub? If so are they still available John |

Hi Legion, Yes they are the same mods killer90 put in, and from the same chap. Not sure if he is still doing them, but he had a set on a couple of weeks ago which i bought. Ebay Item number: eBay Item No. 230793811819. Just checked and he does not have any other listings.
I have not put mine in yet as i am getting the parts gradually due to costs and also had to change my heater blower unit as it had seized. |

Great...yes I had those off of the same guy...nice chap...shame he has given up, perhaps there is not too much call for this type of conversion. Mine are in and I'm just waiting to get back to the U.K. so I can get on and start fitting the seats. Still trying to get hold of some inner 90 side trims but they seem to be like rocking horse s..t Are you going to look at putting in the standard 4 point seatbelts or just lap belts like Killer90? Good luck with the collection John |

I don't think he has given up, i think it is the cost of shipping, i managed to find a courier to pick them up and deliver next day for £8.99!
I will put in the 4 point as they will be for my kids. What seats are you putting in? I am still trying to find some, i really want the ones like killer90 fitted. Good luck with yours! Post up some pics of your progress and i will do the same when i start. |

Mine are exactly the same as Killer90...the original puma third row seats. They do come up on flee bay every now and again but can cost. Keep looking. Exmoor Trim do some but they can cost Let me know how you are going to do the seat belt set up as I'm still working on mine Good luck...I'll try and get some phots up next week on where I am at now. you could even fit harnesses in the rear better safety customized but not so original and the seats do come up now and then if your lucky they come up dirt cheap sometimes

I was thinking an internal roll cage might be safer as well and then the harness could fit to that somehow?

would work or bolt them to the floor on bracket which could be attached to the chassi alot cheaper than a cage

Those ones on Ebay look like ExmoorTrim, which are the ones that meet in the middle of the load area, thus leaving no room to get into them (unless you are about 2" wide).
I once contacted Exmoor about all their forward facing seats, when the new lock and fold ones were introduced in 2011, asking how you were supposed to actually get into them. They said "if they are children perhaps they could climb over the front seats and bulkhead" Seems like they forgot about access when designing them - wonder how many they have sold - not many would be my guess as there is very few posts on the internet regarding anyone fitting them? |

i have to agree with dnorrishill, to me that is not safe, i want 2 points of escape god forbid, plus kids always have dirty shoes and i want to put leather seats in the front and don't want footprints all over them.

Hi Killer90, would you be able to get and post some close pic's of the mechanism of the bottom bars and handle, i am sure it would not be too hard to construct something similar, and mine would be stronger and probably a lot heavier...
