They cost £500 the pair, i did have to do the same wheel arch mod you did, got them off the same bloke, that way i got the headroom and the gap in the middle.

It took me a while to build up the curage to do them as i was a bit worried about cutting big chunks out of it....
Yep will carpet at some point, need to give working on the landy a rest for a few weeks as the Mrs is complaining, but this was for the kids so i got away with it. Also want to get the exmoor re-trim kit for the front seats that comes with new sponge and also fit a cubby box which i will make myself as i want a low one so they can climb over from the front. |

Great install, I put the XS seats in as well but didnt use the modification panels for the head room as they will only be for the kids really, but how much lower do the seats sit to the floor with it?

with the Mod the seats sit approx 6cm lower, but it also lets you mount them further apart so there is access between them. Mine are also just for the kids but i have sat in them to check and i just fit, but my head is almost touching the headlining.

Hi guys, sorry to dig up an old thread. Does anyone know where I could get some panels to modify the TD5 wheel arches like Killer did, to allow the fitment of the later TDCI forward facing rear seats?
Thanks in advance.. |

Brilliant, thanks guys. Have either of you fitted the panels yet? It looks relatively straight forward just a little daunting cutting all that metal out.

Nope, not yet. Taken a while to amass all the parts! Should be getting it done in the next few weeks.
Will take some pics as I go along. Cheers, Fish. |
