Fuel issues on a 2014 2.2
Hello I had great disappointment today after picking my Landy up from a passed MOT only to idle really rough engin light came on and it stalled repeatedly!! I checked the codes and I have P0088 and P117E I have seen these are

(fuel voulume regulator control exceeded minimum control limit)
Fuel rail/system pressure too high)

Can anyone help what this may be? It seems to contradict itself to me but what do I know I’m just the idiot who owns it.

I do agree with Andy above, I think that is likely, it doesn’t produce a DTC itself, but will mess with the fuel pump pressures, which then in turn that does create a DTC.

VCV’s aren’t very expensive which is probably some good news, and easy enough to change yourself carefully. Thumbs Up TheThunder Rolls🇬🇧🇺🇸

Not common on 2.2. If it was a 2.4 yes. But without better options guess worth a try. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

Fuel pump or rail pressure sensor
