Soft top conversion
Changing my 90 TD5 SW to a soft top.

Got the HD hoop kit, mohair cover, etc.

Just looking at the interior now.

What interior light is fitted as standard on a soft top? Is there one?

Assume sun visors just bolt onto the top of the windscreen frame?

theres no interior lights on a soft top, you'd have to fabricate a mount onto top of screen if u still want one

I bought this bracket from Protection & Performance, takes the standard light (which I fitted LED's to).
This photo dates from 2013 but I presume the bracket is still available as it was a top piece of kit.

Conversion was delayed, but has started in anger now. Today saw the roll hoops being test fitted.

it will only go one way with the bead for the hood along the front. have you offered it up? Cheers

Bit more research and it looks like I have a bolt-down rail, rather than one with lever/hinges. So will need a socket to remove the hood when required.
