Thank you,
I must have missed that reading through the posts. I’ll try a different splitter like that. Cheers. 2006 Defender Double Cab- Zambezi Silver |

You have to turn the aerial power off on the head unit. And then you power your Nak loom. Fitted mine a few weeks ago. Same headunit as you 👍🏻 |

Thanks for that Landy Andy, eventually found that option and once I turned it all was well.

Yes, there is a setting for that, which is a bit annoying as you can easily chose the wrong one by accident.
These Antennas make a good Xmas present if you don’t already have one, I’m very pleased with it. I’ve had one a few years now, works well and is robust. Ideal that it is always there, so it doesn’t need putting up and also life proof for off road, won’t get damaged green laning etc. If you want the DAB on, you can just put it on whenever. Just installed mine tiday, went Ok.
Have normal fm reception, very bad dab, but do get some stations (badly), but…. It say’s dab antenna error in the screen. It’s a kenwood kmm-bt505dab. I use the antenna plus (blue white) for plus on booster end radio ground for minus. Any idea’s how tori this? Do like the antenna looks, but it is not working :/ Jan |

Solved! There is a setting in the radio’s system that either powers the dab antenna or does not. As the nalatende has a booster the power is not needed, so in the system you need to set it to off. Works
![]() Found it somewhere hidden on the internet in a Mazda forum hahaha. I’m happy, I’ll try it tomorrow to test the reception. Jan |

Hmmm... for some reason the radio does not remember the power off selection. It does remember all other stuff...?

Are you sure it’s retaining permanent 12v feed input? To the HU.
If not it could wipe settings, typically that menu will only come up when power has been completely cut. So suggests either ground being missing or poor connection, less likely OR being ignition power fed only without permanent 12v TheThunder Rolls🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |
