How old is the suspension? Could be many things. Need to get under there and have a look. Could be failed damper.

Could be damper bushings (thanks for not calling a damper a shock btw). I find the bushings can fail quickly but are also very easy to install...

If you get under, it’s worth checking the A frame bushes and ball joint too.
Though it’s central rear, it can seem like it’s coming from a direction it isn’t located and be deceptive. Though ball joint usually is a kind of knock, knock, knock on coasting off power approx 20 to 30mph when on and off light power you would notice it or on light potholes at lower speeds. It’s like to be damper bushes more though I think, look and feel for excess movement by pulling things around and or bounce suspension and look for movement.  Chillin In The Backwoods🇬🇧🇺🇸
