Sold 2020 defender 110
It had 71,000 miles in it
I loved it but maybe it was because it was the first year
It spent many nights at the shop my Land Rover dealership
Never had loaners.

First was coolant problem
Then it would steer itself at weird moments
So a sensor replaced
Heated steering wheel stopped heating
So steering wheel replaced
Fuel injector went bad would not get out of its own way
New fuel injector
The heat in the backseat always blew super hot air
No matter what so that part of HVAC replaced

So I got the New Lexus GX550 overtrail
Total defender vibes but hoping for reliability
This forum was very useful.
I do miss the defender but this truck is also sweet

'I drive a Lexus' doesn't have quite the same ring about it. Confused

Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.

Toyota just issued a massive recall for vehicles with that 3.4 twin-turbo V8. The fix? new engines. I test drove the new GX and while it was very good, the interior felt cheap, which was very unexpected since Lexus interiors of late have been excellent. Too much cheap and scratchy plastic. And it wasn't as smooth or refined as the Defender on-road. You can really tell the GX is an old-school body-on-frame vehicle. Nothing wrong with that, but for $80k I'd like a better ride and more direct handling. Regardless, best of luck with the new car! 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟏𝟎 𝐒 𝐏𝟑𝟎𝟎 (Pangea Green over Acorn/Lunar)
