are all ABS CV joints the same (repairing a puma 2011)
are all ABS CV joints the same??

I've order and received a Britpart CV joint

https://www.lrdirect.com/tdj000010-supplie...d-britpart

just took everything apart and feel its not the same the one that was in there was a GKN one

https://maltings4x4store.co.uk/driveshafts...tdb500280/

the Half shaft is fine but the CV is chewed to bits so didnt want to spend on the whole thing. cracks in the crown that hold the big ball bearings.

I might just return the Britpart and order the full halfshaft and joint from GKN if I can find somewhere with stock current daily defender puma 110 xs 2.4

Thanks this is what I needed

"So finally new TD5 CV joint arrived. I can now confirm that it doesn’t fit the Puma shaft.

The opening into the CV joint is a lot smaller than the Puma shaft.

I am now just going to order a TD5 halfshaft so I can replace seperately in the future.

this looks interesting might as well do left and right and feel a little safer for a few years
