Hi All
Getting late into the topic.
By way of introduction (and first post); I am following this forum for some time (found so much great stuff) and more in depth recently as decided to go for a 110 (due to the forum??) – similar desires as Scottish110. So this topic of great interest.
I guess like all; have been surfing the web and visited some dealers (Nene and Berkshire) but so difficult as total lack of experience with defenders (for that matter buying used cars in general). And it seems difficult to find individual selling a well-cared for defender.

DefenderoftheEarth, the blue one you mentioned is that one at Carrs Truro (as a guess on location)? If so any specific feedback on this dealer. (did a search on the forum but could not find anything) Seems OK from pricing pov

Scottish 110; all the changes you requested are those included in the advertised selling price? (if so; Great negotiator !!)

K

Hey Ks68, i actually am getting the car cheaper than that. The changes were; black checkered plates all round, keeping the A bar, powdercoating the boosts black, and waxoyling the whole thing + mot+ tax for a year on a 07' 110XS Station Wagon with 55K miles out the door @ £20K.... Its not exactly the price i wanted to be at as i was wanting to be closer to 18-19, but i can only hope that i am getting the value for money on this one. I plan on keeping it for a few years and then i'll buy one of the very last pumas they will ever make Thumbs Up . Hope you find what your looking for mate

Im going to collect mine on Sat so will post pictures when i get it Very Happy Very Happy

So I picked the 110 up this morn from peterborough after a long 10 hr drive from Aberdeen yesterday and let me tell you it was well worth all the f ups that we made trying to navigate our way down ! The truck Is AWESOME !!! Black on black with black wheels. The guy that sold it to me said "well it officially looks like you sell drugs lol", I calmly replied to him "no I stopped that when we had the kids". Funnily enough for him to see someone with tattoos down there arms he didn't seem to doubt that might have done so back in the days, but sorely he would be wrong if he knew the truth !

We drove up to Newcastle for the night and staying at the Malmasion ! Nice place by the way if your looking for a great hotel Smile ! We showed up to the hotel and realised that we couldn't get into the carpark so they have kindly let us park the truck right out the front (got a great pic that I'll post when I get home).

All in all we are both chuffed to bits with the newest family member and will be expecting lots of fun times to come !!! Santa has defo come early for daddy, but don't be fooled he is still hinting to mummy that there are lots of cool bits that "the beast" will be needing Smile !!! Will post pics tomorrow.... Hope everyone had had as good a weekend as me.

Hi scottisch110 congrats with your defender
I also had a look at Nene some time ago and still following the offers on their website.
You happen to have had a look at the blue 08 29k miles one? Any opinion on the status of that one?
