ACC took a few days to start working on mine after changing the settings.
There are various modules in the car that need to learn the new configuration, and they don’t all get updated when the IIDTool programmes them. There must be a way to force a vehicle-wide update but I don’t know what it is. |

Brilliant that's really helpful thank you.
You can't beat an experienced reply. I'll change settings once more and see if it comes to life by the end of this weeks mileage. I was expecting it to take immediately like everything else has. GAP have responded quickly and advised I should set the ACC as above and wait for the systems to learn. |

Does anyone know if "Country Road Assist" can be enabled in the CCF?
As far as I can ascertain, the Defender has all the required equipment and the bulk of the logic looks to be actually built into the NAV, which is present as the same logic is used for the ECO Coach. COUNTRY ROAD ASSIST Country road assist is only operational when adaptive cruise control is active. See ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL. Country road assist is an enhanced feature of the adaptive cruise control system. Country road assist alters the vehicle’s speed for upcoming road curvature or changes to the legal speed limit on the road ahead. Country road assist utilises information stored in the on-board navigation system and the forward-facing camera to determine the correct speed for the road ahead. Country road assist utilises information stored in the on-board navigation system to determine the curvature of the road ahead. Country road assist incorporates two features to reduce the requirement of driver interaction with the adaptive cruise control system. The country road assist features are: Corner speed adaptation – the feature identifies and reduces the vehicle speed to a comfortable value if the current cruising speed is too high for an upcoming corner. Speed limit adaption – the feature identifies the upcoming speed limit and updates the adaptive cruise control set speed. Limitations: The corner speed adaptation feature may not always be available or accurate, particularly in the following situations: If the road's course is not clearly visible. If the road is narrowing. On wet, icy or snowy surfaces. While towing a trailer. When the accelerator pedal is pressed. When the driver deviates from the set route. If a navigation system other than the on-board navigation is used. If the navigation system's map data is out of date, unavailable, or inaccurate. See MAP UPDATES. The speed limit adaptation feature may not operate in the following situations: In poor visibility due to: Insufficient illumination of the road, or Variable shade conditions, or Rain, snow, fog and heavy spray. In areas of light glare, for example from oncoming traffic, direct sunlight or reflections. If the windscreen in front of the rear view mirror is dirty, misted up, damaged or obscured. If the traffic signs are not detected due to dirt, snow or insufficient lighting, or otherwise obscured. When the driver deviates from the set route. If a navigation system other than the on-board navigation is used. If the navigation system's map data is out of date, unavailable, or inaccurate. See MAP UPDATES. If the signs are ambiguous, for example in roadworks or signs in adjacent lanes. During sharp turns when adjacent traffic signs are outside the camera's field of vision. Varying maximum permissible speeds in individual lanes, for example at toll stations. |

Do you have an IID?
There are around a thousand options to scroll through (you can use a search function in ccf) but I'm not sure I've seen country road assist in there. |

My ACC is working so I'm pleased.
My settings are the same as advised (so thank you): MultiCAN-580 PTCruiseFitment: ACC with Queue Assist fitted MultiCAN-712 ACC Lead Car Distance Display: Fitted MultiCAN-809 ACC Stop Gap Setting: Fitted. However, one setting that I have to have different to others is this: EUCD-023 Cruise Control Without cruise control If I alter 023 to anything other setting I've found that my ACC and standard CC won't work. I wonder if this is model year specific or relevant to the G4/latest firmware. *Maybe worth adding to the sticky?* |

A friend pointed out to me that the center speaker on the Meridian sound system is not activated. I wasn't aware of this. But it can be changed quickly
