As you say the back part is different in a 90 van to a pick up, in the pick up it curves down like this

Thanks for that mate, well the one I have seen doesn’t look like that so don’t know if it is a cab one now!! Not sure if this is just a normal front piece that can fit in a normal tin back 90??
Any help would be amazing. |

The van ones are straight, they fit tight to the roof and where they fix to in the van which allows the back headlining part to slot over/under the front headlining

To me it does look like it will fit as it is different to the one in my pic 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.
