Clearing silt from drains

I'm currently cleaning a built up of dirt/silit/sludge from some drains. Ive got all of the big stuff out with a hand held post hole digger but the sludge just falls through this.

I need a scoop to put down the drain similar to the photo below to bring the sludge up but I'm struggling to find anything, other than tools from America which are very expensive. Tool pictured below is 150 dollars!

Can anyone help?

Unfortunately it is out of arm's reach with a milk carton, at least 1m deep.

Milk carton on a broom handle would be the way I went.

UPVC / PVC Rigid pipe, just cut it to suit the size needed.

Maybe a little bit annoying to cut, but should work, just get a size a bit smaller than the original bore or multiple sizes. Play Stupid Games, Win Stupid Prizes.

I have some 4inch ducting pipe for 110 underground drainage, 150 for 6 inch and 200 for 8 ….. all cut around 250 long with a hole in the top and a broom handle stuck through, washer and screw through the bottom , a bit of Gaffer tape on the end seals it up, works a treat

failing that a wet/pond vac will do the job
