£65 charge for me too. Feels like a scam to be honest. Have us mark it as low value on the outbound leg so they don’t pay any tax and then hit us with it on the way back.

Why on earth would we do that? Where would WE be profiting? We don't see the money customs charges you. I am really sorry you have such little faith in us. Neutral

I will check to see what we do with outbound paperwork and what can be done. Maybe the customs charges can be corrected. Generally all outbound paperwork in Canada is filled out the same way. And others in the EU have not hat to pay import taxes a second time (maybe its all those new customs officers that needed to be hired after the stupidity known as Brexit? Whistle ).

I will report back as soon as I find something.

HMRC are the scam, not you guys. Although I would have expected the new one to be marked same as the old - as a warranty return which might have avoided it.

Why is the website still selling the G3 as the latest model for landrover? Wouldn't be happy if I bought that when the G4 is already shipping.

Because we are still not in the regular production cycle. We put out a call for beta testers a few pages back in this thread.

I now have Automated parking working. Wow.

Has anybody found any settings for steering assist? I know the RR sports have it, so I assume it can be activated.

How did you get the automated parking working? I've tried all the settings listed in this thread. I think you may very well be the only person who has gotten that working if true

Remember I have an L462, so I am a foreigner to this group.
I found it took a day and several reboots of Pivi Pro before the settings came up. The settings I used, which I am sure are already on this group are below.

EUCD-099 Park Assist Camera With Park Assist Camera
EUCD-140 Pdcautoactivationmenu With PDC Auto Activation Menu
MultiCAN-469 PDCAutoActivation Default off configuarable
MultiCAN-500 PDCBtnFCIM Fitted
MultiCAN-602 PDC 10 Channel fitted (Park Assist)
MultiCAN-786 Park Assist Full Auto VarD (Fully automated park assist with automated steering breaking accelaration and gears)

Got it, makes sense. I think its just an issue with the Defender right now, glad to hear its working in your car however!

Yes those are the same settings I have changed, and its been several weeks now with no luck. Hopefully it will be figured out soon!

Thanks

Yes, I noticed that the retrofit companies don't offer it on L663, but do offer the upgrade on the L462. Not sure what could be different.

Has anyone successfully changed the driver assistance mode to remember your last setting and not return to high on a 2024?
I have tried the remember start stop, but this also doesn't work.
Now have the g4, so time to try again.

I have a 2021 and the remembering the start/stop also didn't work for me. Other changes were fine.

There are a couple of others, not sure if they make the difference for the self-park. MultiCAN-779 Park Aid, MultiCAN-658 ParkAssistHMI, MultiCAN-658 GrndMarkingDetect, there might be others but I do not have my notes in front of me.

Hi folks.

I got my exchanged G4 two days ago and was able to activate ACC on my MY23.5 D250 XS

EUCD-023 Cruise Control
Standard: Without cruise control
Changed to: Adaptive Cruise Control Stop & Go

MultiCAN-580 PTCruiseFitment
Standard: Normal cruise fitted
Changed to: ACC with Queue Assist fitted

MultiCAN-809 ACC Stop Gap Setting
Standard: Not fitted
Change to: Fitted

MultiCAN-712 ACC Lead Car Dist Disp
Standard: Fitted
Changed to: Fitted
* this was already set on my car

I also set these parameters, cause I read about it somewhere.
But what does this really it do?

MultiCAN-753 Adaptive Prog Mode
Standard: Not fitted
Changed to: Fitted

And I found other settings, which are listed as unsupported,
but sounded intresting to ACC.
Perhaps some defaults to set in the PIVI – but did not find anything yet

?MultiCAN-712 MultiCAN-712 ACC Stop Gap Select
?Standard: Not supported
?Changed to: Fitted

?MultiCAN-712 ACC Accel Profile Select
?Standard: Not supported
?Changed to: Fitted

In the "activation session" the tool was not able to clear 2 faults, which popped up with DADC.
But after letting the car sit alone for lunchtime, I was able to clear the faults with the tool

ACC now works fine ....

Great work GAP-Team Thumbs Up

Got my G4 today and following the above instructions have enabled ACC on my base model too - also reset the service interval. All good, great job GAP team.

Good morning GAP team,

My G4 unit arrived this week, following me returning my G3 for the upgrade.

For information, it was delivered via UPS with a UK customs fee to pay of £59.

Many thanks to GAP for an excellent upgrade option, and fast turn around. L663 D300 SE MY22.

Funny how ups delivered mine in the uk but I had no fees to pay. Think UPS make it up as they go along. MY23 D250 Defender 110 X-Dynamic SE, Carpathian Grey, 7 Seat, Electric Towbar

All other soft controls work, just the volume has issues.
