Still messing around with the end in sight.

Flipped the number plate and light to avoid MoT issues with ladder in the way.

Limo tint definitely a bit gangsta.

RTT for those sunny February days.

Experienced RAI from fb marketplace tomorrow.

Tach if I get time.

Are Front Bumper Swivel Recovery Points worth adding or take a risk on the steering guard eyes?

Has anyone had a good experience with any of the budget recovery boards before I go bust? Everything's a hammer.

Managed to fit the experienced RAI, but no time for the tach.

Went for the Maxtrax in discrete orange.

Took 5 minutes to remove the fuel filler cap, lots of ratchet noises and still not sure how I did it.

Need to figure out the radio tuning.

Wipers are atrocious.

Need to sort out everything I threw in the back in the dark this morning.

Off for a test drive to Morocco.

Wow ambitious shakedown! Looks like Dover so you are going to drive all the way. That roamerdrive will pay its dividends now!

Dover it is.

Collecting a mate in Malaga before crossing to Tangier on 4th so really only drifting south.

Roamerdrive is a bit whiny which i hear is normal for the first few thousand miles.

Otherwise so far so good. Everything's a hammer.

It occurred to me that having freeloaded expertise off everyone, I have not posted photos of the ‘finished’ job.

Thanks all.

Bed is 1,950 x 1,175 mm

Double burner, sink, fridge and diesel heater.

Soft focus will certainly help.

The pass over the Atlas is in bits on the ascent heading south. Enjoyed/needed my first experience of LR box.

Thanks, even managed my first off road adventure.

Just about got away with it, but could so easily have been different.

Stopping on the upslope was a poor decision. Embarassed

Love the build progress you have made on this and its a great inspiration for mine thanks!

Question for you though how did you mount your plywood in the rear to the tub? 110 Td5 Ex Utilities slowly converting into a pop top camper one day

Hi, thanks for the positive comments.

Everything is ‘interference fit’ with no direct fixing to the body.

I fitted the 9mm base board to the two 18mm thick uprights for the tub, then did the same for the footwell. Base boards screwed into uprights. Lids then screwed on top.

Let me know if you need any photos.

Best of luck. Everything's a hammer.
