I know it’s a bit brass necked of me, but, I know I could upgrade a G2 to G3 (and was about to) but will there be a G2 to G4 upgrade choice/programme? Or should I sell the G2?

Hi Chris,
No, unfortunately we can't offer a G2 upgrade anymore. We do try to take everyone with us as we move up, but at some point it is no longer economically viable. Sorry.

I'd suggest the "For Sale" sections in one of the sister forums to this one catering to older vehicles we cover. As older L322s and D3s become less expensive, their owners often do not want to spend the full price on an IIDTool. Razz

There are 2 at disco3 that recently sold for £325 plus postage. So that really seems like the best way forward.

No problem at all, I know I was chancing it a bit Laughing

I will put on the market, it is like new it should go no problem. MY24 X-Dynamic HSE D250 110, Santorinis Black, Matrix LED headlights, Dark grey cross car beam, Air suspension, HUD, Secure Tracker pro, Wheel arch protection, Deployable tow bar.

No. My vehicle is MY23.5
Even if it's 23, activation is still possible. The requirement is PIVI Pro version 4.0 or above, I believe.

On a US Spec 2021 110 P400 I tried this and while it accepted the change, the auto stop will not remember last setting. Any other ideas?

-Remember Stop/start setting

MultiCAN-566 MHLastUserMode = Enabled

Also, Another thing I noticed programming Dynamic Mode:

The process I followed said to do the following:

- Dynamic Mode

EUCD-129 Terrain Response Fitment, Set to "Auto Terrain Response Dynamic & Configurable Dynamic Mode"

EUCD-245 Dynamic-I
Standard: Dynamic-i Not Fitted
Changed to: Dynamic-i Content with Configurable Dynamic Mode Screen

MultiCAN-562 DynamicProgMode
Standard: Not available for selection
Changed to: Available for selection without timeout
Other possible value: Available for selection with timeout

MultiCAN-605 ConfigDynamicMode
Standard: Not Fitted
Changed to: Fitted

MultiCAN-777 Ter Dyn Select In FCPB
Standard: Control interface not available in FCPB
Changed to: Rotary used for selection within touch screen

Looking at a post also in this forum, they had the above steps PLUS the following change:

MultiCAN-682 DynamicLiteMode Set to Available for Selection Without Timeout.

Anyone know what this additional step does?

The stop/start last user mode memory seems to be hit and miss, some find that it works (it did on my 2022) and others find that it doesn't work.

MultiCAN-682 DynamicLiteMode Set to Available for Selection Without Timeout.

I think this setting allows you to select dynamic Mode from the touchscreen OR the rotary control MY23 D250 Defender 110 X-Dynamic SE, Carpathian Grey, 7 Seat, Electric Towbar

I did the stop/start thing on mine the other day, it takes a few ignition cycles and pivi resets to take effect but now works perfectly.
