Exact same as me and another guy with a D250 XS. Once the gap solution comes online it might be possible to work at it a bit more.

My car is an XS D250 MY2024 non-UK European model.
Its „retrofitted“ park assist features the same greyed out start button as tooth_dr‘s does. Sorry if this has been asked before, but I didn't find it. Is there a way to turn off the premium "signature" DRL halos completely? This would be for the legions of owners driving around with one DRL on and the other one off, because the signature LED burned out in one headlamp, and it is currently taking Land Rover anywhere between 2 and 4 months to get a replacement assembly from date of order. The fault doesn't affect the main headlamps, but it's annoying.
I reckon most of these owners would rather turn off the feature on the other headlamp if they had a choice, either permanently or until the replacement arrives at the dealer, rather than driving around with one DRL on and the other one off. From the factory, there is no way to turn off the signature DRLs, as far as I know. 2020 NAS Defender 110 HSE 5-seater / Silver / Khaki / Black Pack / Black Roof / Satin Film / Cold Pack / Off-Road Pack / Advanced OR Pack / Comfort + Convenience Pack / Sirius + HD radio / HUD / Meridian Surround |

Just the same as changing to 007 screen I think. There are a few options in the drop down menu MY23 D250 Defender 110 X-Dynamic SE, Carpathian Grey, 7 Seat, Electric Towbar

I don't think you can do the SV Bespoke, I seem to remember the choices in the 007 menu were SVO LE, SVA, SVX and SVX Dynamic. I have a feeling the SV Bespoke is more to do with the 2024MY but I may be wrong on that Cheers Ian

Does anybody know how to lock the car with the engine running?
Tried with keyfob, but it won't let me.. the hornet of the car is making a noise to know that I cannot lock Tried with Land Rover mobile application, but under remote submeniu is telling me that remote functions(like remote lock the doors) are not available when the engine is running. I want to do a map update from the USB stick and I must have the engine on and it takes more than 1 hour to finish.. Cannot let the car unlocked on the street for 1 hour where I live Maybe there is a setting to change in GAP Tool that will allow me to lock the car even if engine is ON?! |

You can’t.
Unless you are installing none uk maps you don’t need to install uk Map updates, they are automatically downloaded. MY23 D250 Defender 110 X-Dynamic SE, Carpathian Grey, 7 Seat, Electric Towbar |

Go for a nice drive somewhere?
I would never let an engine idle for an hour - idling is very bad for all engines, especially diesel ones. |

I figured it out, tested it last night and today to make sure it would not affect the headlamps' regular operation or cause faults or other modules to act up. It appears everything is still working as intended To turn off DRL / signature LEDs, aka "halos" in premium / matrix type headlamps: MultiCAN-468 FntDRLType Current: Incorporated DRL and Pos New: No DRL Note: Signature LEDs will still turn on along with high or low beams, but will stay off when headlamps are off. Auto headlamps and AHBA, if so equipped, will still operate as usual. Tested on a MY2020 US-spec vehicle only (Defender X). 2020 NAS Defender 110 HSE 5-seater / Silver / Khaki / Black Pack / Black Roof / Satin Film / Cold Pack / Off-Road Pack / Advanced OR Pack / Comfort + Convenience Pack / Sirius + HD radio / HUD / Meridian Surround |

Hey Pat,
Are we any closer to being able to activate these systems using the Gap Tool? Keen to explore! |
