So does it actually work, that is, do you get the extra 50bhp and extra torque? |

Everyone waits for the one person having the guts to do it AND have it checked by LR to see if they can read it out 😄

"JLR retrofits originally offered this change but stopped as it was being overwritten by dealers"
This would indicate that it may work. l'm not being the first to try it though !! |

Interesting when I change 476 to HDC and LSPC I received the Emergency brake error, when I changed 129 to Auto Terrain reponse from Terrain response I recieved the 2wd warning. So I think the 2 messages are not related. Has anybody worked out how to fix either of these error messages?

Still no-go on forcing headlights on? It has to be possible, vehicles delivered in Denmark have to burn lights all the time.
I was able to find one that forces. AUTO lights mode, but. I believe it is the default here in the states, maybe? I believe the behavior changed, as in when I turn on the fog lights the Auto setting is no longer canceled. Now I need to go find which setting I changed. HI, I've been trying to solve TR cars for a long time, the emergency brake warning never appears on my car, which instead appeared to Ian as a TR car setting error. when I edit the hdc file to 476 hdc and lspc, only 2wd error appears, when I edit 129 Auto TR, only 2wd error appears. Your cars probably have some different setting that leads to emergency brake failure. Marco |

Interesting that you don’t get the brake error. i also noticed when I changed 129 I also loose LKA, Speed limiter, speed sign recognition and autonomously cc. So I am thinking it is around the image camera. Maybe it is not a setting, but a recalibration of the image camera. Would you be happy to send my your ccf file, I am keen to compare. I can send you a comparison file back.

I am woundering what sensors Auto TR uses. It appears it detects wheel spin, so probably ABS sensors. Does it use the cameras to detect terain?
I notice some are using Auto Terrain Response, some are using Auto Terrain Response/JDO, Dynamic. Is the error different depending on which attribute is used? |

QUOTE
more accurate speed reading MultiCAN-838 from: Speedo market 0- 3.5% + 2kph To Speedo market 1- 2.0% + 0kph ------------------------------------ This does indeed make the speedometer more accurate. According to my GPS it's now doing an actual 69mph at an indicated 70mph. However it doesn't change the setting of the cruise control speed display. So you set the cruise control at (say) 70mph and the speedometer is showing 67mph So l think there may be another setting to change somewhere. |

Yes please if possible, if l can identify the changes l will post them on here.
l am guessing it's something to do with the cruise setup or calibration. |

Hey all just curious. Has anyone found a way to leave the DRLs on full brightness regardless of the settings of the headlights?
I like to run with just the fog lights (no head lights on) but when I do so it automatically dims the DRLs. I've been playing with the list but I've not had any luck yet. Just throwing it out there if anyone was able to do it? Note I already enabled no dim for the DRLs with the turn signals and hazards, and that has worked well. |
