Interesting. I looked at my settings and it shows disabled (and of course still shows the icon) on my car, so I was hoping enabling it would make it go away.

l finally got to connect the GAP tool today with my Defender D250
Everything worked okay including registration. It connects with my ipad and reads all the various ECU's. The vehicle identification comes up and everything looks good. However when l try to select "vehicle config" the loading starts and then stops with "reading CCF wBackup" and then l get "operation failed E O" The other menu items seem to work okay. How can l proceed from here? l tried shutting down the vehicle and restarting. l got through all the loading procedures and then the same screen when l try to select "vehicle config" Have l missed a step somewhere? What's you car battery voltage? Might try connecting it to a charger and letting it sit for a minute or drive it for a few miles and try again. All modern cars are super sensitive to low voltage. If that fails, I also suggest downloading the lastest harware version for the IID tool, assuming you haven't downloaded it within the last week. |

l managed to update the firmware last night so will try again today to connect it to the vehicle. l'll report back when l've done it. |

lt may be worth posting a summary of things that can be changed and the file numbers, l was looking for the door open chime cancel and after searching fifteen pages of this thread l still haven't found it, although l know l read it somewhere.

Got my IIDtool activated and have done this: MultiCAN-777 Ter Dyn Select In FCPB Standard: Control interface not available in FCPB Changed to: Rotary used for selection within touch screen EUCD - 245 Dynamic 1 set to “Dynamic 1 Content with Configurable Dynamic Mode Screen” MultiCAN - 562 DynamicProgMode. Set to “Available for Selection Without Timeout” MultiCAN - 605 ConfigDynamicMode. Set to “Fitted” MultiCAN - 682 DynamicLiteMode. Set to “Available for Selection Without Timeout” MultiCAN - 777 Ter Dyn Select In FCPB. Set to “rotary used for selection within touch screen” EUCD-129 Terrain Response Fitment, Set to "Auto Terrain Response Dynamic & Configurable Dynamic Mode" Closed and locked car 4 times with more the 30 minutes and no Dynamic mode anywhere. 2023MY D300X Any ideias ? This has been asked before, but was never answered.
What happens if you change the engine from "D250" to "D300" in vehicle configuration? l assume the software is not present to actually upgrade performance, but you never know. lt is only software that determines the engine output. |

UPDATE
Downloaded the new firmware and all working now. Couple of questions though, for those more in the know. Where is the option to stop the door open "bong"? And can you switch off the seatbelt one as well? And why does it say currently "no cruise control" as it does have cruise. Does it mean no adaptive cruise control? Thanks ! |
