me and my dad would kill for a shed like that, a couple of drive on ramps in there, racking for spare parts and oils. A proper be a proper work shop. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back In the words of my Good Friend, Gary Forrest 1980 -2025 " we will work something out" |

Thanks for the comments I have only just got the building warrant for the shed there was a lot of restrictions as to what I could put in, now I can start fitting it out. First thing will be a 2 post ramp as my knees are struggling kneeling or laying on the floor to work on things (that's what getting old does

When I started cleaning the axles I found that they were also rotten.

Starting the prep for the re-build, first I power washed & de-greased the galvanisation next coated it all in T-wash ready for paint. I didn't want the silver look for the chassis I also went for the Marsland chassis because it is basically identical to the original LR one also has chassis number in correct place.

That’s going to be lovely when it’s done.
Did you have the axle casing galvanised yourself? I’m contemplating doing mine. Where’d you buy the galvanised brake disc shields from? |
