Thanks for the comments I have only just got the building warrant for the shed there was a lot of restrictions as to what I could put in, now I can start fitting it out. First thing will be a 2 post ramp as my knees are struggling kneeling or laying on the floor to work on things (that's what getting old does ). I joined it onto my garage & put an access door through so most of my stuff is still in there at the moment. I have got to say respect to all you guys that does this kind of project in a single garage or even worse on the driveway, I am still tripping over things with all this space.

When I started cleaning the axles I found that they were also rotten.

Starting the prep for the re-build, first I power washed & de-greased the galvanisation next coated it all in T-wash ready for paint. I didn't want the silver look for the chassis I also went for the Marsland chassis because it is basically identical to the original LR one also has chassis number in correct place.

Did you have the axle casing galvanised yourself? I’m contemplating doing mine. Where’d you buy the galvanised brake disc shields from? |

I got the disc shields from YRM this is the link https://yrmit.co.uk/product/hdg-rear-mudsh...er-d1-rrc/ my both axles where completely shot so had to replace them got them from KD-LR same place I got the chassis Karol & Gemma there couldn't be more helpful.
