For those who have a disintegrating gear knob, I found these silicone/rubber covers on a chinese website. I thought I would get one to protect mine before it starts disintegrating . Looks good, feels good. I will report once I fit it.

Sure. No connection with the seller. Just pleased on how it fits, hence my share. Took a very long time to deliver. If it will last, I do not know.

Too bad they don't do one for the transfer lever.
My transfer lever went the way of the gear lever so now I have to replace them both. Maybe now is the time to splurge a bit and get one of the leather covered all alloy levers? |

There’s loads of these on Amazon for around £6 free delivery.

It's written "Aluminium" and it looks like that to: https://www.ebay.de/itm/174067982436
They certainly are beauties and well made. 250 GBP/ 280 EURO is a decent sum. Further I am a bit "worried" that they could be very hot in summer and then .... I put a silion hat over the gear stick Furthermore, IMHO it's a bit too early to worry about a gearshift lever (see pics) Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Cheers |

That´s right. They can get hot and also maybe its weight can induce some vibrations and thinks like that.
Anyway, how come the original is so bad quality! I bet a Lada gearstick is of better quality. Puma 110" SW ............................................................. Earth first. Other planets later |
