Here is a new one I was playing around with. Have not been able to get it working either but maybe others have played and have ideas?

MultiCAN - 636 AdaptDrvBeam. Set to AdaptDrvBeam Disabled. First you have to have the Mayrix LED to be able to activate this from the research I have done. Based on my 110’s CCF listing I have the matrix LED. I changed the setting to enable and nothing. Well nothing other than the ability to turn on and off the auto high beam disappeared. I still have auto lights and high beam assist or whatever just no place to switch on and off in the PIVI anymore. I left it to see if maybe it would magically show up as some have reported with other changes but nothing. Anyone have ideas or info on this?

HI,
to enable the matrix lights you need to change these parameters:

MultiCAN-679 HeadlightsVariant
Headlamp_Variant_Mid_C ——————to Variant_hight_( A,B,C according to your country)

MultiCAN-636 AdaptDrvBeam
AdaptDrvBeam Disabled ———————to enabled.

MultiCAN-706 Dyn Bending Light
Not fitted———————————————to fitted

MultiCAN-693 ADB Initialisation
Not fitted—————- —————————-to fitted.

on my car when i upgraded, everything worked even with just the first two ccf's.
Your car may have restrictions due to the regulations in your country.

Cheers

Marco

Marco

Thank you. I printed a list of my CCF’s and had been going through them and listing everything that looked like it was related to the headlights or ADB. Was just not sure where to start messing around. I will try MultiCAN 679 first to see if that works then others if needed. I also wondered about country restrictions. From all the reading on different changes I initially believed I would not be able to get global close to work from the remote here in North America. It sounded like I would be able to use the function using the exterior door lock buttons only. But after some more looking and trial of a few setting I was able to make it work despite it being restricted in our market I believe. So I am hopeful that I will be able to get this working as well.

Scott are Matrix light legal in the USA? I thought they weren't so would be surprised that Land Rover would fit the Matrix lamps instead of just premium LED as there is quite a price difference between the two.

If you have them enabled you should get this switch in the pivi settings

To test that they are working you will need to find a place with no street lamps and total darkness, when you go over a certain speed the blue main beam light should come on and remain on whilst there is no light. If you get a car coming towards you you should be able to see sections of the light dropping away so as to not blind the oncoming car, and the main beam light will remain on while they are working.

If you want to drop me a PM with your email address I'll email over a copy of my ccf which has the matrix lights from the factory for you to compare Thumbs Up Cheers Ian

Ian, I should be asking this by PM, but since I am too new here, it won't let me.

Is there a list of things known to work? I just got my unit from Lucky8 and ready to activate.

Sent you a PM, looking forward to seeing the differences. As for the matrix lights I was initially thinking the exact same thing that they were not fitted for the US market. I then saw a post somewhere else a few days ago that said they were coming to the states and that post was older. I was only thinking I did have them in that my CCF EUCD-014 Headlights, Type. Is listed as Matrix LED AFS123/IHB. I have not looked at the other options in this CCF but I assumed that meant I had the Matrix LED lights. I enabled the ADB to enabled the other night and I did not get that screen as I had hoped. I did also restart the PIVI a few times and tested on a dark road as I live out of town away from lights. No joy. I plan to try a few of the other options suggested to see if I can make it work or not. Guess we will find out if I actually have the Matrix or not. No issue if not just something fun to try and figure out.

Problem with MY2024 CCF file

I a new owner of a IID-Tool BT I bought from ExpeditionParts in Germany.
The IID-Tool BT was delivered today, I updated it to 4.00.00 build 3034.

The car is brand new, too. It is a 2024 Defender 110 D250 XS.

btw:
There are some problems with activating the „inControl“ service of the car, the dealer is trying to find out with LR. So the car is not yet activated. It seems this is not the only car that does not activate, the activation procedure was changed, there is a problem with LR.

In the meantime I tried to code the CCF file to unlock some features. I started with one of the simpler ones:

I tried to activate the wifi hotspot by
MultiCAN-814 IVIWiFiHotspot
Standard: Not fitted
Changed to: Internal WiFi Hotspot fitted

When I tried to upload the changes to the car it said:

„CCF version not yet supported“

and the app fell back to the main menu. Any other CCF-change ends the same.

Can one of you help me with the problem?
Is anybody else suffering the activation problems with LR?

Thank you

Philipp

Hi Scott,
to understand if you have matrix lights it's very simple, you have to physically look at the front light when you open the bonnet.
There is a white label with the code of the lighthouse, look at the absorption watts,
this is a matrix label:

this instead a premium label:

so if you have matrix headlights, setting the exact ccf everything will work, if you don't have matrix headlights, the adb key will appear on the pivi, but the headlights won't work adaptively.

Cheers

Marco

HI,
I think Patrick should be heard, (now I'm on vacation until 28/08. )
only thing that comes to mind, are you logged in to get full functionality on the tool on your chassis number? otherwise you have no access to ccf encryption and reduced functionality.

Cheers

Marco

Thank you for your reply, Marco,

I already activated the tool and locked it to my car's VIN.
So it should work, I think.

greetings

-Approach unlocking
MultiCAN-807 Approach Unlocking
Disabled
Change to Enabled
----------------------------------------

-Modify signature LEDs behavior

MultiCAN-463 DRLBehWhilstDIsAct

MultiCAN-465 DRLBehWhHazardsAct

This setting is to keep them on while the turn signals or hazard lights are operating.

- The subwoofer was installed in the base model, but wasn't enabled.

EUCD-121 Subwoofer

That's great. I wished I had that when I first started. It really should be stickied and not buried on page 40 of a thread.

One thing I don't see in your list is fogs with high beams. I read that this would do it but it didn't work for me.

EUCD-018 Foglight Function
Foglight without restrictions
