Loss of coolant and power loss
Brand new to the lady scene. A steep learning curve ahead I fear. Hopefully someone can shed some light on this.
Recently purchased defender. All good for 4 weeks. Then after about 30km sudden loss of power. Stopped . 10 mins later all fine for a short period then again. Checked coolant level. Low. Topped it up about 2 litres. All good for a we days then same again. Have checked fluid levels topped up. Left engine running and started to search for a leak. No leak found. Found out that the electronics have been altered to give a 25hp increase.
Have also read about a cylinder head sensor that shuts engine down when hot. Also possible head gasket.
Does all of this sound correct? Where is the best place to start?

TIA

Seldom has a truer word.been spoken, mind you I suspect that this forum is not the best place for advice about ladies!

If you have steam from exhaust check the EGR and cooler for internal leaks first, oh and be careful with your nails!
