Why do door latches die?
Hi All,

Just when I had one side sorted, a few months down the line, the other side seems to have died. Cannot open it using the outer and inner door open. The only good thing is that it's shut secure unlike the other side which was open even with the door locks locked! Shocked

Asides from being drowned, nothing worth of note happened to these latches. Both are located at the rear passenger area, by the way. (D110)

Is there something I can check to see if something just worked loose or something? Buying just the latches with local currency is spending an arm and a leg for just one of them (original LR) and now I need 2! Big Cry

Any input and advice is greatly appreciated. No Better Friend, No Worse Enemy
