Just looking at bolts and studs.

Is it advisable to use stainless steel in alloy heads? And should I use any sort of grease compound. I read you shouldn’t use copper grease on alloy?

Almost there. All done, fuel tank in etc. new heads on. Wiring loom in.

Ecu fault though so just waiting for a new tornado chip to be sent out.
Have a Jerry can full of fuel and poised ready for a start any time soon.

Will let you know when it happens.

It will be a momentous occasion. I will video it. Ha ha.

It’s cost about 3k to get all the bits to get her back on petrol. Plus
A few elec bits and I’ve started on the suspension parts. Went to the Rutland parts fair last weekend and picked up some bits for really good prices.

Once she’s running it’s lowering time and welding on new suspension arms. Then a respray. Then I’ll tackle the air conditioning and everything else.

She’s back from the dead…..again! Drinking petrol once m
It lives. It actually lives. Rough as but it’s back from the dead again and running on petrol. A couple of cylinders short mid you but Christ. I’ve done it and couldn’t be happier!

Thanks to all the help from you guys. Martin. It was neutral 27 that was the issue. Put that down and away she went.
