This is mine rear ARB if it helps.(TD5 110)

Alex,
You dont have a suspension lift on yours do you? The higher the rear suspension, the more rotated the rear ARB will be and the closer it will be to the tank cradle. Cheers, Steve 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread |

Your front one is incorrectly installed anyway. At the front, the ARB end of the drop links should be the top, the axle end of the drop link the bottom (The front ARB should be above the track rod). For the rear ARB it is the other way round. |

Looks like you've fitted the front ARB drop links below instead of above the mountings. lf it makes you feel any better, l did exactly the same when l installed mine.
I also had the same issue with the rear ARB touching the fuel tank cover. Eventually l binned the Britpart and fitted a genuine Land Rover rear ARB and that was fine, didn't touch the cover. |

It's easy to make some spacers to fit between the rear bushes and their mounting brackets to drop the bar away from the tank.
For the record my 2007 110 was identical to John's (with the rather feeble and rust-prone LR tank guard) and had similar clearance to that in the photo. I subsequently fitted a YRM alloy tank guard (infinitely better than the original) and that fits with clearance too. I'm not sure why yours is so different, but anything is possible with Britpart. |

This is what I did. I found that, when the car was more than lightly loaded, the standard ARB would foul the tank guard. I just got some bits of 10mm alu and cut them to shape - easy enough with the tools I have. If they ever need replacing I could do them in something else but a couple of years in they're fine. Course if I'd looked at the LRWorkshop site the diag shows the correct way to mount the ARB
