Is it remapped? If so you need to revert back to the standard map to do the pilot correction.
Are there any other fault codes logged? It will not complete if there are any fault codes. > 110 XS Double Cab |

Also, if you have a 2.4 and have only changed the VCV you don’t need to do anything with diagnostic tools, just drive a few miles and it will self adjust. That’s what most on here have done and it’s worked ok.

I tried with the remap and with the original cartography it causes the same problem it only causes the 1st stage and sometimes not even and it suddenly goes up in speed. Then I get a status 80 error.

Have a read of this topic, 3rd post down on Pilot learning issue. https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic87383...correction
Also if you have replaced injectors then reading the BAS advice should help https://bellautoservices.co.uk/bas2rrc-hel...ogramming/ Noting the following from BAS “After replacing any injectors its advised that you you re configure the rest of the ecu so that the new injectors are accepted fully. You are advised first to complete 1st the High pressure pump reset, and 2nd Pilot correction reset. For best results its advised by the manufacturer that this is done when the car is in standard form, once both are completed successfully you can re apply your performance remap.” |
