Broken Speedo Sensor, sheered bolt
Hi,
A couple of days ago mid journey the speedo stopped working, and engine power reduced. Checking it out, the sensor was dangling from the wiring after the flange had broken. It's all corroded to hell and when I attempted to remove the mounting bolt from the transfer box it simply sheered off leaving around 1/4" sticking out.

Any suggestions as to how I could remove the remains of that bolt from such an inaccessible place?

Or any alternative ideas for fitting the replacement sensor and retaining it in some other way?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks. How did you manage to access to weld? I wouldn't like to try with everything in place, did you remove the parking brake, or the whole transfer case?
