It’s a proper G4, plenty of history on that one. However, abused is a better description plus it’s a cat s. Still, it would be good if someone brought it back to life, under the bonnet is very tidy 2003 110 G4 used in 03 and 06 events - its well travelled. 2002 Range Rover G4 Event car (Australian leg) 2008 Discovery 3 G4 UK Selections car 1968 Series 2a |

Since we have been some splendid weather, I decided to have a go at my rear brakes. I had the LOF roadspec brake kit ready, some nice stub axles from triple 4 engineering and a pair of calipers.
During the strip down, I spotted the bearings were Timkin and not that old which is good. The previous owner certainly got their moneys worth out of the pads! Shocking when compared to the new ones. Just finished reading this thread from the beginning, loving the project and getting it back to what it should be Clayton.

Got a start on the front brakes yesterday, so much more accessible compared to the rears. The grotty looking suspension is a ‘to-do’ but still working despite the lack of a rear anti roll bar.
I’ll get the fronts finished today and revel in the magnificence of working brakes! Click image to enlarge 2003 110 G4 used in 03 and 06 events - its well travelled. 2002 Range Rover G4 Event car (Australian leg) 2008 Discovery 3 G4 UK Selections car 1968 Series 2a |

My plans to finish today failed when the o/s brake pipe decided to snap as I looked at it… glad it did this on the drive and not on the road. New ones ordered and I’ve suitably chastised myself for not ordering them along with the rears. Still, the rest came apart and went back together without issue. 2003 110 G4 used in 03 and 06 events - its well travelled.
