Posting these for anyone looking... these are the configuration changes that successfully enabled me to upgrade from base LED headlamps to Premium LEDs... following Simon's videos from PowerfulUK got the headlamps installed but the folks at IIDTool got me the CCF configurations to make it work! Thank you!

Can you disable this annoying thing for EU-based cars "Driver assistance resets to High" with Gap iiD?
If yes maybe someone can point me to where this is located. Basically want my Driver Assistance to remain at "Custom" after I restart the car. Thanks! |

Yes you can do it. I have to say I'm no expert on this but I changed it and it works for me.
MultiCAN-889 GSR2 EU Market Ft GSR2 Country Changed it to Non GSR2 Country Obviously I don't know what the potential implications are. |

Thanks! Does it still show the "Driver assistance mode will reset to High upon vehicle restart" warning or this also completely disappeared? |

Received my iiD tool today and can confirm the following:
1) Stop Driver assistance resets to High MultiCAN-889 GSR2 EU Market Ft Change it to Non GSR2 Country Works perfectly. After restart stays at "Custom". No more annoying sounds. 2) Remember auto start/stop settings MultiCAN-566 MHLastUserMode = Enabled Doesn't work yet (d300 2024 model, eu specs). Will report in a few days, need to play around with resetting Pivi etc. |

What's "Driver Assistance" l don't see this message on my 2022 D250
ls it the collision avoidance and lane departure etc? I can access these in the menu but they always reset to "standard" when l next use the vehicle. To be honest l would like the collision avoidance to remember l have turned it "off" as it's nearly caused an accident twice when lt activated unnecessarily. |

You don't see it on your MY2022 because it only started appearing on MY2024 onwards due to new legislation. Cheers Ian

Does anyone know if selecting the above with the GAP tool will also allow the vehicle to memorise the collision avoidance etc settings?

Update on the Start/Stop issue: Not sure what exactly did the trick but it works perfectly now! So after I changed the MHLastUserMode = Enabled - the car was left alone for around 12 hours. After I started the car the Auto Start/Stop was on as usual. I turned it off, did 2 Pivi resets while the engine was running and after that pressed the seat memory button to remember the seat setting (m + 1 in my case). Step by step: 1) Connect iiD 2) Disable start/stop 3) Change MultiCAN-566 MHLastUserMode = Enabled 4) Leave the car for 12 hours 5) Start the car 6) Disable start/stop 7) Reset Pivi Reset Pivi one more time 9) Press seat memory M + 1 (double check that the auto start/stop is disabled) 10) Turn off the engine. Open the driver's door. Close the car. 11) Start the car And the car starts with start/stop disabled. Hope this helps! |
