United Kingdom 2007 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 HT Aintree Green
[For Sale] Truetrac / Wheel carrier / Bilsteins / 300tdi dri
Most of these parts were purchased for a projects that haven’t happened due to lack of time these days.

10 spline Detroit Truetrac ATB centre. Absolutely immaculate, late type stronger 6 bolt housing. Removed from a early 90 after very little use which was converted to 24 spline - I was going to fit it to a Series but never have done. Hard to find and expensive (£600) if you need one! £300

Mantec rear wheel carrier - purchase from DuckWorth Land Rover a couple of years ago. They had a promotion on these Wolf type carriers, this is the rear door (late) version, and includes a set of their spacers for mounting alloys. I’ve never even unwrapped it from the packaging it arrived in let alone fitted it. £150

Set of Bilstein B6 dampers for 98 onwards Defender. Were apparently only used a short time, I never fitted these, purchased off here 18 months ago. I have however sourced the correct Polybush bushes instead of the useless rubber ones Bilstein supply (Have another set of B6’s on my 90) £175

Safari Equip 90 saddle tank, 30litres capacity extra, brand new and never fitted. For Td5 /Puma 90. £200

Complete 300Tdi / R380 / LT230 drivetrain removed complete from an MOT failed 1997 90. I had an idea that I was going to put it all in an early ex military 90. Complete with everything needed including seatbox and floor plates etc. As removed £1000. I can palletise this and ship within UK.

Set of one piece 300tdi 90 driveshafts - perfect for Td5 / pumas fitted with the rubbish two piece shafts. Get rid of the driveshaft clonk for £30 the pair!

Could you give me more details for the Truetech please. I will take it if it is suitable for my truck.

Many thanks.

It is ten spline for defender axles pre 1994, and Series Land Rovers.

Do you have a part number? It looks like there are different ones for different axles.

Not off hand, as it’s at my workshop. What is your vehicle?

Unfortunately it's a bitsa! Whilst its a k reg defender, I believe the axles are from a 200tdi disco. The engine is a 300tdi with R380 and lt230.

I am happy with education on the subject!

I am only entering into the engineering side so more than happy to learn.

They are the same unit front and rear - they can be set up for front or rear use depending on requirements.

Mo, for the second time, the front unit is the same physical unit as the rear.

The difference between front and rear setup is the orientation of the internal worm gears. To swap from front to rear fitment you simply swap the left hand side gears for the right hand side and vice versa.

Gents, I believe this is above my skill level, so unfortunately I will have to pass on this.

Good luck with the sale and to whoever purchases.

My best regards

Mick
