It is ten spline for defender axles pre 1994, and Series Land Rovers.

Unfortunately it's a bitsa! Whilst its a k reg defender, I believe the axles are from a 200tdi disco. The engine is a 300tdi with R380 and lt230.
I am happy with education on the subject! I am only entering into the engineering side so more than happy to learn. |

They are the same unit front and rear - they can be set up for front or rear use depending on requirements.

Mo, for the second time, the front unit is the same physical unit as the rear.
The difference between front and rear setup is the orientation of the internal worm gears. To swap from front to rear fitment you simply swap the left hand side gears for the right hand side and vice versa. Last edited by Oldowner on 5th Jan 2022 8:03pm. Edited 1 time in total |
