Welding on a TDCi what do I disconnect?
As the title said, I want to weld on my TDCi, what's the safest way without damaging the vital bits.

Following the handbook instructions to disarm the BBUS first, if you have one fitted. Darren

As well as the negative, take the positive off too and check all switches are off.

You should then be good to go. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Just completely isolates everything that way.

Depends on what type of welding in question as well. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Key for safe welding is good ground connection close to the welding point and on the welded part. This will minimize current leakage through rest of the car. "Drobek" = The Small One - Discovery 2, "Blufรญnek" = The Blue Thing - Defender 130, and for me at least Ford Mondeo Smile
