I also thought the throat slitting gesture was a little uncalled for just shows what type of people the remain camp attracts. Personally i thought the editorial on the front page of this morning’s SUN newspaper told me all I needed to know... For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at.. http://www.youtube.com/user/conwy1 |

'Shadowing' - for it's all I can think of calling it.
The technique popularly used by (mainly male) French drivers in which when you pass a car the driver suddenly accelerates, closes in behind you and 'shadows' your every move for mile after mile when before they were apparently content with driving at the speed limit. 'Les grands poulets' don't have the balls to go even slightly beyond the speed limit in case they are caught by the nasty Gendarmes, but are happy to glue themselves to a faster car's 'derrière' and use it as a decoy, thereby benefitting from the extra speed by proxy. Wimps. Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

I took Mrs H to see Coldplay last night, and jolly good it was too. Then we left and hit the A40 which was peppered with roadworks bringing it down to one lane and then the M40 with several sections also cut down to one lane. Then the sodding M5 was closed in various places. FFS, has someone suggested cutting back Highways Agency overtime or shift allowance and they needed to use it all up before month end?

Never understood why the French drivers do that? I've been driving in thick fog up to Caen and progressively pushed to go faster and faster by one car. Only to loose my bottle and dab the brakes so they back off. They then overtake and go 10 Kmh slower than I had been going?? Talking to a French person, they said they follow close so if there is an impact there is less damage as the distance is not so great??? I'm sure there is logic there somewhere At least that's what they think? 80" 80" 86" 88" 90" Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |

Logic? in France? :roll laugh:
Whenever they do that to me, I just get slower and slower, until they give up and overtake. |

low life's who thing rush hour traffic is the place to practice for the touring car championship at speeds over 40 mph in a 30 mph zone.
Had one this morning 8.40 am overtake me then under took the car inform of him causing me to have to slam on the anchors to avoid a collision, so I pip the horn this went on for about half a mile he had to stop at a set of lights, arm out the window giving me the V sign., lights change to green he set off and I follow and he slams on the brakes causing me to do the same so I pip the horn, he moves off a couple of feet and stops no brake lights and I bump him four times, just before the fourth time I see he is pulling on the hand brake. Call the police as he threatens my well being. Only damage my number plate. No action taken by Police as no independent witnesses, (they all just drove past not wanting to get involved). Don't make old people mad. We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |
