It would have been installed last Monday if the installer hadn't been blind, gave them place of work details but he failed to find it , its the only building on the street, and instead of ringing my mobile rang my home and left a message then drops of a bill at my home address for failed attempt. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place,
so it doesn't take much to Censored us off.

I always find it mightily amusing in forum threads when people state that they've said their piece and won't be contributing again yet within a short time can't resist piping up again and again. Rolling with laughter Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades.
Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW.

[Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc]

Not so much a grumpy post as a 'stunned' observation post.

People who drive down tight lanes with their wing mirrors folded in. Ignoring the benefit of some low level warning that 'you are getting close to that car or wall' in favour of the short term gain of possibly saving damage to said wing mirror yet outweighed when it matters by the damage sustained to the flank of the car when the folded mirrors offer no notice of impending crunched bodywork at all. Much as I saw earlier this afternoon when a RAV4, wing mirrors neatly folded in, misjudged a tight bridge crossing and promptly had their rear wheel arch ripped of by a nice solid peace of granite masonry. Shocked Monsieur Le Grenadier

Rolling with laughter sorry Whistle the ones I deal with seem to expect me to do the job I pay them to do Rolling Eyes and the filthy state some people leave houses in disgusts me, I don't claim to be a clean freak but the bathroom that was supposedly cleaned for two hours and the filth on the grout and tiles that "just wouldn't move" I went round one tile with cleaning products for 60 seconds and to my amazement it was clean Shocked Ray

Illegal in the UK, of course, exterior mirror (on o/s at least) must be functional.
