I hope it comes back to you in good order. Had you sorted out the modification to the X-Eng lock?

Skytag have been excellent, only problem is the police haven't bothered to attend!
Skytag have just given the police a bit of a kick and an officer has only just been dispatched. I will be interested to see the pedal lock when I get back home. Frustratingly I am 4 hours away, but need to get back soon as the whole incident should have been captured on our CCTV recorder. Must say police response is really poor, they haven't even called with a crime number. Thankfully Skytag were happy with just the incident number. Now just need to pacify the wife 😡 Fixing Land Rovers for over 25 years..........and making excuses to the wife for almost as long 1984 110 V8 - Gone, but not forgotten.... |

Ok so police now there and damage is apparently minimal in that they broke in (easy as soft top) and started it with a screwdriver.
According to my father in law the pedal lock has totally twisted and the centre hinge bar ripped out. I did have the pedal lock up grade kit, but hadn't had chance to fit. Think I'll just get a new one now! Police have now taken the Landy off for forensics and I am waiting to hear from them when I can get it back. Skytag been A1 and let me know the Landy was parked in a country pub car not a mile away. Time for even for security....thinking big gates and more in your face CCTV. Really sorry for your troubles and frustration!! I hope your Landy is recovered at the end of the day. I am assuming that the vehicle had the factory fitted alarm/ immobiliser system? Is this easily by-passed? I use a tracker system that gives me highly accurate information on my iPhone on both location and vehicle status. Sound like your police are nowt better than ours.
