I've gone 5mm foil backed, topped off with a thin carpet,
So should do the job? It was mainly done to stop heat build up, (Manifolds are well into the footwells) Will see how it goes 80" 80" 86" 88" 90" Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |

Did a spot of painting today, doors, door tops, truck cab, and 1 outer wing.
Still one more outer wing to go, but I ran out of thinners I’m quite pleased with the result, I added a matting agent so it doesn’t look to shiney against the older original paint, I might give the front edge of the wing a buff, and see if I can go through to the alloy in places, Just to tie it all in with the older inner wings. Really starting to look like a Land Rover now I did try to fit the handles in the doors, but I’ve brought the wrong ones! That is a right PITA... We are nearly there:D
Today I fitted some nice half leather heated seats, Big thanks to Forum member TTF, (Tony) for the seats Blingy steering wheel etc.... And carried on fitting cab windows, and other interior parts. Dirt shields for the wings are on, mud flaps etc, Need to get some new seatbelts in the week, as the old ones look too tatty against the new seats! Still a few bits to do, door tops need fitting up, but waiting for some glass, as I managed to drop one The end is in sight.
