Yes it is, easy enough to make, but if you have one, it would be handy 80" 80" 86" 88" 90" Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. Last edited by ian series 1 on 25th Feb 2018 9:20pm. Edited 1 time in total |

Hi Andy
No, not yet.. Still need to sort log book with DVLA, in all honesty I’ve not had much time for it recently, Shouldn’t be too long though 80" 80" 86" 88" 90" Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |

Update,
I’ve sent off all the requested paperwork to DVLA in the week, so fingers crossed I can get it on the road soon? Today I got around to finishing off all the little bits, the new seatbelts needed finishing off, setting up the tracking, Fitting the centre console tray, and wiring up the heated seats. One thing that desperately needed doing was cleaning the carbs out, I did do it last year but didn’t replace any parts, it was very hesitant pulling away, I stripped them down this morning, and fitted a SU overhaul kit, and set the carbs up, which has made a great deal of difference. It now revs cleanly and is very responsive, so well worth doing, Revs are still slow to return to idle though, so I might try a thinner oil in the dashpots? Hopefully now, as soon as I get the V5 I will take it straight down for testing, And get it out on the road for a shake down. Both Carbs are quite worn inside, and had plenty of muck inside, i think the main problem was the needles having a film of varnish over them, which was making them stick? Hi Ian,
I like the look of a Roll Bar on a Soft Top though agree with you regarding fitted to a Truck Cab.. A 3/4 Tilt would look cute too! Andy Working towards Carry on camping! |
