Just found your thread, great Defender! Just so you know the smile as you see people's faces when you leave them behind or overtake them doesn't go away. I'm 42 and still doing it... occassionally Embarassed James

Just on small little brackets where the slam panel supports attach.

With the grille fitted and looking from the front they were quite discrete

Thanks, it's Rigid Industries I have too, simply the best! That looked really neat.

Well I bought some rear speaker panels off Andy (ROBBONTHEROCK) so they will be going on this week hopefully. In the mean time I got a snowfoam lance for Christmas so I gave that a go. Really good (fun too!)

excossack - yes I was very impressed with how much it removed, you could see the dirt streaking off the car and dripping onto the floor. You could have got away with just jet washing off if you just wanted it to be presentable.
When I went in with the noodle the water stayed much cleaner Thumbs Up

Pj2106 - the rev counter was £199 + VAT from Dan at duckworth landrover Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

To the Eagle eyed amongst you, that is a standard indicator on the O/S rear.
On the way up to the Midlands the led one failed and I had to pop that one in for the journey home. Luckily Ian at IRB had a spare to lend me Bow down Back to all led now thank goodness Rolling with laughter 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon
