Procta,
I’m interested to hear what you think is missing? As I too believe it needs a little “something” My confidence has been writing cheques that my abilities can't cash for years. |

Surprise update on the 90 today. I had paint left in the gun after painting the pillars on the Range Rover, so painted the new steering guard cover for the defender

What I nightmare! I had a puncture the other day, whipped the wheel off to repair it and thought I'd check my brake pads (as I do every few months anyway). As soon as I put my head under the wheel arch I realised there was something wrong. The road spring had snapped 2 coils up
I'm not usually one to name and shame, but as the outcome was somewhat positive I feel slightly easier about it. The springs were urban truck ones and had only covered about 25k miles. I called them to say that I was rather disappointed that they haven't lasted long at all. They were very helpful and offered me a new set for half price! So, ordered Wednesday and arrived today. Quick efficient service and sorted out my problem. So now I have a brand new set of Eibach springs to fit over the weekend Click image to enlarge 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon 1990 Vogue SE Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 Td5 90 Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic50767.html Tdi 110 Thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic69562.html RRC Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic54492.html Instagram http://www.instagram.com/george_grafton |

Cheers Clayton these feel like they're slightly softer than the current ones, so might be more comfortable. Time will tell 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

I wasn't that happy about it, however the springs were out of warranty so they weren't obliged to do anything - I feel like 50% off was fair enough. Obviously the ideal outcome would have been a free replacement set but I needed them quickly and didn't really want to argue the toss so it is what it is 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon 1990 Vogue SE Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 Td5 90 Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic50767.html Tdi 110 Thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic69562.html RRC Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic54492.html Instagram http://www.instagram.com/george_grafton |
