I didnt think of it like a VSR Split charge unit. 20ampsx2 would be more than enough for the sorts of things i needed Mike

Yep, that's exactly it. I've got one to power my DRL's. They come on a few seconds after starting once the alternator has kicked in.

Just fitted mine, I'm not sure if it's working, as the device didn't seem to come on. before I check it tomorrow, a quick question, did you have to set anything or was it plug and play? Mike

Instructions direct from Tim @ Mobile centre:

On the IGNSENS module connections are as follows:

A Power in from battery positive via suitable fuse – use either terminal marked 12V
B Yellow wire from DRL kit
C Not used
D Not used
E Battery negative

Worked for me, good luck. Instagram: l90andy

Thanks for the info with this thread fellas. I've been frustrated by lack of switched feeds, and don't want to overload the cig lighter circuit, so just ordered one of these units from the Mobile Centre.
It'll provide feeds for the Dash cam, Off road Nav unit and rear camera for my caravan.
Thanks again.
Ken

Mine seems to be working and it does a good job.

I find the lack of power feed frustrating with the defender dash, good luck Mike

I've received my module from the UK, but when connected to the battery (terminal A for + and E for neg) b, c,and d are powered up when the ignition is off, so the switching function isn't working.
Is there adjustment with the Screw inside the housing that I need to make perhaps?
Thanks for any info re this.

Ken
