Yes - Just down the road.
I use Guy Salmon Cov though for the car stuff and parts occasionally them, but only usually urgent essential things. Mike |

my parents used to live in a village just outside of Stratford, so know that area. I get all my parts from them.

Much better when they were Yarnolds...used to know a lot of the service guys (still one i think there)...a little more "cowboyish" then but better dealers for it (if that make sense). Mike |

Is there a definitive answer to this? Do LR have a wiring kit for spots for the Puma that is separate from their spots?
I'm keen to get one too, but would rather avoid LR prices. |

Right chaps,
I have re-traced my steps. The kit that fits is the STC 53208 (Td5, 02>) I checked the cable kit in the full setup (with lamps) and compared it to the setup with the TD5 Kit and if anything the Td5 kit is better made with more robust parts and no need to cut into your vehicle loom which is what you have to do with the full kit. I am uploading the pictures now and the measurments are as follows: Y junct to battery box cable: 150cm Y junction to Switch: 70cm Y junction to main beam wire: 190cm Y Junction to spot lamp plug joint: 150cm I will be fitting it like the Td5 instructions too as I have fitted a under cubby box safe so can't feed the switch/main beam wire through that way which it describes in the instructions. I also have the fitting instructions for both kits (I will be using a combination of both) on pdf format if anyone wants me to email it through to them. Still uploading so will post this, go for a coffee and then put the pictures up Glyn |

Click image to enlarge Top Left is the Spot lamp plugs Bottom is the Battery box wires Right is the Switch and Main beam wire Click image to enlarge Relay box wires with terminals all ready to put into relay holder Click image to enlarge Wires that go to the On/Off switch and then a single one that extends to the High Beam wire. Click image to enlarge Accessories pack which comes with cable ties, relay, clips, main power supply, rear of switch and chock blocks. Click image to enlarge Switch Yes the kit is expensive but it is VERY well made and all the hassle parts are taken out or the job (getting the right lenghts, tidying them up and having everything to fit). I am happy with my purchase.... Might be an idea to contact XJ Electronics and see if they will sell you Part 12284 direct. That is the full wiring kit minus the switch Good luck with your kits, Glyn :sheep: Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |

I don't know how I could put them online.... I am a tech biff when it comes to this sort of thing. Do they need hosting or something like that? I can attach to email though Glyn |

I removed the LR spots and wiring kit that was fitted to one of my previous TD5's and have used the wiring kit in both Puma's I've had with no problem. Steve.
