The legislation that was passed by Mr Blair's government was a piece of anti rich, class driven ideology so as a piece of legislation it is hopeless and has left the hunters in limbo and the hunt sabs with a target.
It is as stupid a piece of law as the dangerous dogs act.Ill thought out knee jerk law making. What is ( and was ) needed was legislation to deal with all forms of animal cruelty and I for one include fox hunting in that category but there is a time and place for proper controls on some pests ( foxes are a pest ) and that needs carefully thought out policy not the stupidity of the law we ended up with. I would not want the law repealed but it certainly needs a thorough review with all the stake holders having an input. HR064 Hampshire and Berkshire 4x4 Response |

Go to your local hunt, and see how many of the people who turn up are what you'd call rich. Most are farmers, locals and people who enjoy horse riding etc. You have very little knowledge to back up your very strong opinions... Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |
