.......which are 'give the buyer as little information as possible but when you can't avoid doing this ensure that any information that you do give is totally incorrect'!

We will have the RHD Mustang in Aus in a few months in Eco 4 & V8 form, although whty anyone would want a 4cyl turbo Mustang is beyond me. 223KW ain't gonna cut it either. I believe Ford Aus have huge forward orders,...the "hot up" boys also have all the latest "Ford Performance" gear, ready to go! Pickles. |

It is a big premium, but I expect these to sell at these silly inflated prices. People will pay it. What's 10k to somebody who has enough money and wants one. The Chinese will go mad for this model if anybody wants to sell. However for me it's a keeper and will be kept in unmolested condition, and only used on dry days. You've got to remember it's a factory original take on the 1st, on a car that's been in production for 67 years. Icon! Getting more and excited now, and my dealers still working on September delivery... |

Well having convinced myself that I could live with not having alpine windows on the heritage HT and that I would definately stick with it I made the mistake of going into the dealers today to have a look at 90HT's with and without the alpines just to make sure.
Amongst the six defenders which they had on display there sitting on the showroom floor is a 90XS HT in santorini black with the contrast tan/ebony premium seat pack (which looks fantastic), Dual finish alloys, Tow bar, a button with AC on it, and alpine/rear windows which do make a huge difference. After half an hour fighting with the salesman I've walked out of the dealers having handed over a deposit for the XS with all it's options for pretty much the same Click image to enlarge price as the heritage All being well I can collect it next saturday and I will try and take some decent pictures but here's a couple of poor shots from my phone which I took in the showroom. Not sure what to do with my order for the heritage at the moment as I hadn't planned to buy an XS today but I just feel that the XS in the colour and spec is going to work better for me although I do feel slightly unfaithful Click image to enlarge |

Well done Vintage, and Cozz, being a "Keswick Man", I'm looking forward to seeing yours.
I like the Heritaga model, but I've said many times that if, for any reason, that doesn't fully fit the bill for you, a well optioned XS, with what YOU want on it, is the way to go. Pickles. |

Love the seats... such a shame you can only seem to spec these on the XS model! What to do with the Heritage... Get both! YOLO... You Only Live Once... |

YOLO,
It would be great to have both and put the heritage away for the future but I don't think I would get that one past SWMBO! Pickles, I do still really like the heritage but the loss of the alpine Windows was just one compromise too many, as you say choosing a spec which suits you is probably the better option. My one here, I reckon the red and tan will work well together, post some pictures when you get it please. |
