Click image to enlarge It greatly increases the light in the vehicle and stops it looking too boxy from the rear. |

Its a completely different car with the windows.
I've had 2 HT 90 one with windows and one without and the windows make a world of difference. not fair on the dog to be sat in the back without some light coming in. to this end I have just emailed my dealer to say I couldn't carry on without the windows and have asked them to swap my order to a Heritage 90 SW. |

Just done a search for 'Defender Heritage hardtop specifications' and found this.
http://www.buyacar.co.uk/land_rover_defend...3192.jhtml I don't know where they have got their information but I would reckon it must have come from JLR. Thing is if you scroll down to the standard items it clearly states that the hardtop comes with the stationwagon roof/roof appointment pack. I also spoke to my dealer this morning and he said he was up at Solihull last week asking about spec and delivery dates and he couldn't find out anything definitive! Probably clutching at straws Steve, but I think there is still hope that it may come with windows. |

Hi Paul
The photo I got from my main dealer without asking for it. LR sent it to them and they sent it to me because they knew I wanted rear windows. I believe the photo is one at the factory. It's only my view point about windows and still think it's a great car. I just can't spend £27800 on something thats not as they first said. seems to be reducing costs big time. I've asked for a SW instead |

Cool indeed! In the UK we can only look. The JLR 'favoured' guys in OZ will of course, be able to also option these, as well as a/c and a radio! YOLO... You Only Live Once... |

I don't recall that being one of the options previously discussed... Coincidentally, I have asked my squealer to confirm the specifics of the model they have allocated me... Rog... The GREEN One... A Heritage SW was NOT one of the options
It's just the only other option I would except I just dont need an adventure or landmark when theres nothing wrong with my 110. |

Paul, I believe the SW Roof only comes with the XS derivative - the basic Hard Top does not include it, as shown from the official LR site, below: Although, rather intriguingly, there appear to be two second row seats included... EXTERIOR Rear mudflaps Heated rear windscreen Tinted front and side glass Windscreen wash/wipe system with variable intermittent function Manually adjustable exterior mirrors Plain metal side panel (no side window) Halogen headlamps Solid paint 16 inch standard steel wheel with Michelin ‘Latitude Cross’ tyres Full size spare wheel ENGINE TRANSMISSION, SUSPENSION & DRIVING DYNAMICS Six-speed transmission with dual range transfer box Permanent four wheel drive Front axle two-pin differential Power Assisted Steering Standard duty suspension Underseat bottle jack Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electric Traction Control (ETC) and Dynamic Stability Control SAFETY & SECURITY Perimetric alarm with engine immoblisation INTERIOR Twill Vinyl seats Two individual second row rear seats Rubber floor trim CONVENIENCE Front centre console storage tray Two front cup holders Manual dipping interior mirror Driver and passenger sunvisor MULTIMEDIA Radio preparation Rog... If that photo has come from Land Rover then that is what we are going to get then. (Do you think they will throw in the side steps and towbar seeing as they are in the photo? )
What would be good is if JLR could send to everyone who has ordered a heritage photo's and final specs of what we are actually going to get for our cash. Hope you manage to get a SW steve, has your dealer come back to you or has he done a runner? |

No reply as yet Paul.
A runner has been done. They did say they needed to know today if I wanted an Adventure model. A Sw would be great now but think think thats like trying to catch the moon now. |
