Not cricket based on the release pics
However I find it strange that the ht shows side steps. What's that about? I hope they change your ht to a sw. I mean they're not numbered so what's it matter? |

I think that Land Rover have handled the sale of the heritage version very poorly indeed. It's five months since we committed our ordered and paid deposits yet non of us really know what it is we are getting. I really feel for you Steve. I had a issue with my dealer last week where we had the discussion of me potentially not receiving the vehicle I ordered. Several stern telephone conversations later and my order was confirmed. During this process I contemplated life without the heritage. In truth I wanted the car and was prepared to compromise on its failings. But what a nightmare, the whole buying experience should have been much better than this.
Good luck Steve. Keep us posted |

Hi nidge,
I totally agree with the points you have made. How hard can it be for land rover after 5 months of holding our orders to have given some more information/pictures to us? Would they have behaved like this if the heritage had not sold out, probably not. Very naughty of your dealer if he was trying to cancel your order, they need to remember that a deposit works both ways and by accepting a deposit they have entered into a contract to supply a vehicle. Echo your comments to Steve (and Ralph), hope you both get some good news regarding the sw |

Just had a really nice chat with the sales manager of my local dealership.
He understands that I don't want the HT anymore and will keep me on reserve for a SW If it's possible to get one. Can't ask for more really and at least I can forget about it for a few months. |

Wonder if they had somebody on the reserve list for your HT? They'll be a happy bunny!

That's a good looking landy. Not too sure about the side steps though. Out of charicter. Perhaps single step on would better. Love the colour. |

Yes, I've been wondering whether a side step works on the Heritage . . . I've got kids so probably won't get away with leaving it clean. Silver side step isn't too bad . . . Nick

Apart from that ...... grill!!! I don't know why it seems to stand out so much more... perhaps it's the shiney plastic colour ... YOLO... You Only Live Once... |

Is the intercooler grill a different colour to the main grill, or did they just forget to paint it?
Not the only Defender at the show: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge But no photo or mention of the Heritage in the press brief! |
