I have no idea sorry lol. It's going in to South Wales Autowrap in Newport so whatever they use, they do some beautiful work. When the panoramic and rear door half glass is fitted (by Landy Glass) it'll be gloss black from the top of the rear tub up and a Nato matt olive green down below with a gloss black bonnet. We still have an extra two NAS lights to fit on the rear so there's two reverse lights and two rear fog lights. It hasn't had anything done for months and now this last month we've been going hell for leather on it.

Ooh Chrispy, like the sound of your colour scheme, looking forward to seeing it in the New Year as I've considered a similar one myself.

Good job btw Thumbs Up Monsieur Le Grenadier

Thank you my friend Thumbs Up Next month we have a lot happening so it should come together really quickly. Next Tuesday the new Tdci roof goes on (and hopefully the central locking kit will be connected as all the cabling has already been laid). Then Dave from VGS comes down later in January as soon as he gets the rear door half glass to fit the panoramic windows and also cut and install new alpine windows in the roof. Then it's off to South Wales Auto Wrap to be wrapped then we have until early summer to get the interior sorted. My wife has chosen a really nice set of seats from Exmoor, the Diamond XS Elite ones and a matching cubby box with new full carpet set.

ICE wise i'm putting in a double din android 4.4.4 system and a Pioneer amp powering 6 speakers and 2 tweeters. After extensively picking the brain of @CustomSteve off these very pages we're having the two tweeters on either end of the Td5 dash then two speakers under the dash (the regular ones), two in the Lasalle headlining and two either side of the rear door in the speaker panels supplied by the lovely chap on here from Duckworth parts (sorry but i've forgotten your name i'm afraid). There'll be a nice subwoofer stashed somewhere no doubt but I want as much of it as possible hidden. I've always been very fond of Pioneer equipment so as much of it as possible will be that. A friend of a friend is a pro ICE installer in Cardiff so i'll more than likely leave it with him to save any major headaches that will arise if I do the install myself. Hopefully it'll turn out as nice as I have pictured it.

Had this SVX style grille and headlamp kit delivered today, hopefully it'll be installed next Wednesday along with the Discovery transfer box they couldn't do today when they fitted the new roof.

I bought it off a company on eBay for £209 which i'll admit wasn't the cheapest on there but looked very good and the company had excellent feedback which is one of the first things I check before purchasing anything.

We took the old roof off yesterday and fitted the new Tdci one I bought just before Christmas. It wasn't an easy job but having done this once already it wasn't too hard. It took about 2 1/2 hours all told.

They look really weird without a lid.

Sadly there wasn't enough time to fit the Disco transfer box so that's another job for next Wednesday I guess along with the SVX Grille and surrounds as long as I can find lights to fit them.

I haven't updated this build in a very long time as i've been on a fitness thing and too busy losing over 12 stone in the last 14 months. I watched a documentary on youtube called 'Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead' and while I didn't do the juice diet the guy on the show did it really woke me up and opened my eyes as to how I could cure myself of a lot of ailments I had. I joined the gym and started eating healthy and have dropped down from just shy of 30 stone to 18 1/2 stone now and i've cured myself of type 2 diabetes. Now i'm healthy enough I plan on doing much more of these mods myself.

Anyway, the reason why i'm here is we finally got around to fitting the rear door panel properly we bought from Bolt On Bits at Christmas last year.

I had to dremel out a piece from the bottom to accomodate the hydraulic like door thingy (i'm hopeless at this lol).

Then drill a few holes around the edge of the door frame.

To fit these plastic bits for the screws to go in to.

Then fit the panel properly. It fits beautifully and looks very smart.

I still haven't got around to wrapping it yet or fitting the panoramic glass as we've had a few set backs throughout this year and also ended up donating a lot of money we had set aside for Monty to two animal rescues who were in dire financial difficulties. We don't mind waiting and in the mean time we can get more little jobs done. When it goes in to be wrapped I want the windows fitted the same time so it comes out complete and ready for my wife.

I fitted this just before Christmas. It's an RDX XL Console from Bolt On Bits again (I love their stuff) and the wife wanted a double din Android system for her Christmas present as her old Land Rover CD Player was looking a little long in the tooth and she couldn't have hands free phone calls on it.

Thank you my friend. I've literally got a spare bedroom full of stuff still to go in it but I just haven't got around to it yet. I should be busy the next few months now i'm both fit and motivated enough to do it.

Thanks my friend. I was on crutches before and now i'm running 5 & 10k's and actually rock climbing lol. Massive change but I would be dead now if I hadn't. I'm nothing to look at but in the photo on the left I actually wasn't at my biggest then. That was the point I stopped letting people take photos of me and I went bigger again. The one on the right was about 4 months ago I think.

Shocked
Would look better with Genuine switches in place in my opinion.

Any pics of fitting and item unfitted ?

Just seeing if it is as it could potentially be.
