Thanks.
Funny how different dealers deal with it. Guy Salmon won't book me in until they are certain that they can get all the parts & told me some were on a restricted list or restricted supply. My names on a list & they will let me know. Might be a long wait! |

Sadly, (as with most things in LR!!) the recall now has a huge floor. As you mentioned Supacat, LR have issued this recall without having supply of parts enabling it to be carried out. The Oil Pumps are on restricted sale due to supply issues, so now every dealer is struggling to get parts for the recall to be carried out! Should be sorted by the end of the week though... An engine to TDi for!

Mine is a 130 registerd in April 2012. (SALLDKVP8CA4150xx). Think this is within the range. TOPix say there are any fieldactions required however.
Do I have to take action myself? |

Is the recall only within guaranty period?
Is TOPix country driven or direct from LR UK? I presume the range given (LD405037 - LD443988) is for 90’s 110’s and 130’s.. Mine is a 130 within the range but not on TOPix. I like to know, because my car will shortly go for it’s final guaranty checkup and I want to be prepared. Regards Q |

Hunters in Guildford haven't heard of 421. Mine's going in tomorrow for some other stuff else and I asked them to do it at the same time. 'Haven't heard of that one, sir' 'So you won't be able to do it, then?' 'Oh yes, sir, we'll do it.' 'So you've got the parts then?' 'Yes, sir, no problem.....' Eh? 2003 Td5 110 Hardtop Now a 2013 110 USW too. |

Oh thats pretty much exactly what i got! The bad thing is my cars been in twice since the other part recall (1.5 years ago) and i was never informed about it! Will be complaining tomorrow, Hunters Norwich are probably the most useless sales/service team i've ever encountered for any company. |

The English version of Topix clearly shows Q421 as an outstanding campaign for my VIN ... However, on the German version it does not show any open issues ...
Called my dealer today ... they have not heard of any oil pump problems, yet ... Best Regards, Axel |

Louis, agree with your thoughts on Hunters, Norwich, very poor on sales,so I had a deal with Hunters Kings Lynn. Slightly better, but when it comes too service side once again very poor. Going too give it a few days and see if they contact me about oil pump recall. When I had last turbo pipe recall, letter was dated May 2014, but posted to me in October 2014, so I don't hold a lot of hope in them letting me know.
